Sacred Heart Parish Annual Financial Update
For the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2025
As we reflect on the past year, the Finance Committee is pleased to share that Sacred Heart Parish continues to stand on a strong financial foundation, thanks to your generous and faithful support.
We met all financial obligations and were even able to pay off our building debt earlier than expected. This is a tremendous milestone made possible by your stewardship. Careful budgeting and cost management allowed us to finish the year with a positive balance, even among rising expenses.
Here are a few highlights from the year:
Steady Stewardship: Through disciplined budgeting and expense management, we supported parish operations while keeping financial stability.
Parish Giving: Weekly collections rose compared to the prior year. We appreciate this encouraging reflection of your commitment to Sacred Heart.
Investments & Endowment: While investment returns were softer than last year due to broader market conditions, our endowment continued to grow, keeping our outlook for the future strong.
Fundraising and Community Support: Birdies for Charity, along with other fundraising initiatives, contributed meaningfully to our extraordinary income. We continue to be inspired by your dedication in these efforts.
Support for Catholic Education: One of our largest annual commitments is still our support of Seton and Alleman Catholic Schools. These subsidies are an investment in our faith, our youth, and the future of Catholic education.
St. Damien Center: Thanks to your contributions, we were able to repay the related diocesan loan and celebrate by burning the note during our Sacred Heart Reunion in June.
We are incredibly grateful to every parishioner, donor, and volunteer. Your generosity, time, and faith make all the difference. If you are behind in your support, we encourage you to consider resuming your contributions. Every contribution helps sustain the life and ministries of Sacred Heart Parish.
Thank you to Fr. Mark for his steady leadership and to all staff and volunteers for their thoughtful stewardship. Please continue to keep our parish in your prayers as we move forward together in faith.
With gratitude, The Sacred Heart Finance Committee
