VBS “The Cool Kingdom”

This year the children of Sacred Heart Parish journeyed to the Kingdom of Heaven where they learned more about how Mary, our Mother, leads us to her Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. Through music, games, arts and crafts, faith, and food, the children met and increased their faith about Mary and Jesus.

Our leaders this year were AMAZING!

Mandi Stout directed us each day with the theme, virtue, and Saint of the Day. Fiona Graf put our faith in motion with music and dance. DeAnn Gandia brought the children’s artistic side out with craft projects that embodied the ideals of the day. Maria Escamilla showed the children that even through food we can honor Mary and Jesus. Amy Mack opened up the hearts of the children to the love of both Mary and Jesus through the faith we hold so dear. Fran Ryan reminded the children that our life here on earth can be challenging, so through various games she showed how we can meet what life throws at us because we have Mary and Jesus on our side.

This year the staff were true leaders of the faith. Each one of these young people came every day to assist our leaders and make our week so enjoyable:
