Religious Education Registration - 2025-2026 School Year
Let’s Get Educated on Our Faith!
Our faith is not just saying we are Catholic, it is actively being involved in our CHURCH! There are so many ways that we can be involved. Our church needs you to continue the mission that Jesus gave to the Apostles. We need Altar Servers, Readers, Choir Members, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Greeters and teachers. We have many committees and activities each year that need your help.
Religious Education classes begin on September 7th, and we need teachers for the 4th and 5th grade classes. What a wonderful way for you to share and grow in your faith by teaching children. Our program here at Sacred Heart grew over the last few years because many parishes in our community no longer have Religious Education classes. We have families from those parishes who come to us because they heard that our program is vibrant, active, and strong. This only happens because our teachers dedicate themselves to teaching the faith to our children.
Registration packets are available beginning August 5th at the parish office and on Saturday, August 9th, and Sunday, August 10th after each of the Masses.
We cannot put a price on our faith; no family should feel they cannot afford to send their children to Religious Education classes. We have scholarships available.
We know that life can be overwhelming at times, and we get behind in our faith life. If your child has not received all their Sacraments: Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, there is a separate program to bring them up to date.
For more information on the scholarships or the Sacraments, contact DRE Debbie Patronagio at the parish office (309) 762-2362.
