Mass of Remembrance - November 7th, 2026

Honoring someone’s memory with a meaningful tribute brings comfort during grief and helps you feel connected to the person you lost. A reflective memorial celebrates their life, preserves cherished moments, and creates something lasting that honors who they were. That is our prayer for our deceased relatives and friends and for those who miss them. At our annual Mass of Remembrance, we at Sacred Heart honor those parish members who have died in the past year.

A Mass with a special ritual of naming those who died between October 16, 2025 - October 15, 2026 is planned for Saturday, November 7th at the 4:00 p.m. Mass. This celebration always occurs at a weekend Mass near the feasts of All Saints and All Souls, when the Universal Church remembers those who died. Family or friends will carry forward the personalized candle to be lit. Invitations to a family member of the deceased will be mailed in mid-October and asked to be shared with others who wish to attend the special Mass. This Mass is livestreamed for those who are not able to attend.
