Altar & Rosary Society Retreat - February 9th

Please join the members of the Altar and Rosary Society on Monday, February 9th for a retreat morning at Benet House Retreat Center, Rock Island. The retreat is led by Sr. Bobbi Bussan, O.S.B., a familiar face to the members of our parish. The retreat begins at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and conversation. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and concludes by joining the Sisters in Noon Day Prayer followed by an optional lunch (fee of $12.00 for the lunch).

The theme of the retreat, ‘The Cup of Our Life’, is based on the book by Sr. Joyce Rupp. Sr. Bobbi provides an overview of the cup images and leads a reflection on how these images are applicable to our everyday spiritual life and prayer. Please bring a cup or mug that is a favorite or has significance to you.

Sr. Bobbi Bussan is the Director of Benet House Retreat Center at St. Mary Monastery, Rock Island, IL. She has led retreats for 12 years. Sr. Bobbi is always eager to reflect on spiritual life with individuals and groups providing opportunities for individuals to grow in their relationship with, and love of, God.
