Parish Reunion

What a day we had for our reunion again this year. The outside temperatures matched the enthusiasm of those gathering for the reunion on Sunday, June 22nd. After Benediction and the Burning of the Note of the St. Damien Center, we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon indoors with air conditioning.

We spent time reconnecting with many people. We thank the Hispanic Ministry for feeding us all so well. Every dish tasted excellent. All games except Jumping Joey’s Bouncy House were moved indoors. Many people enjoyed entering the raffle for the available baskets. Their presentation in the Audio Visual Room was impressive.

The different rooms were decked out with flowers, balloons of all colors, even balloons depicting the burning of the note.

The committee collaborated effectively to organize the event. Planning for next year’s reunion has already started. A meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Damien Center to initiate preparations. All interested individuals are invited to attend and participate in the fun from the outset.
