Second Hand Sale - Thank You!

Your Second Hand Sale team wants to thank everyone for their incredible help contributing to this year’s success. The amount of items donated were out of this world!  We learned from last year, we left more room for furniture, so we did not have to move the rest of the inventory so many times. The volunteers were quite patient as you filled our tables. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped set up and work the sale. Clean up was done quickly thanks to the clean up crew. Both the kitchen and the bake sale were full all three days with desserts and baked goods. Many items are well known and people look forward to their favorites. Many of you took our signs and posted them in your yard. What a great way to get the word out! If you need to return your yard sign to the parish office, please do so in the next couple of weeks. You kept the pickup crew busy as they dropped off truck load after truck load filling the hall. We so very much appreciate the help we had from all the parish staff. Thanks to everyone we grossed $13,450.00 this year. This amount is down a bit from last year, but it is still our 2nd highest year! Thank you Altar and Rosary Society for your support of this effort of $1,500 annually. This money helps pay for the epoxy covering on the front steps of the church.
