29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Parishioners,

Sr. Kathleen Mullin has been a staff member at Sacred Heart for many years.  She loves to be among us and offer her gifts and talents.  A fulltime position can be an awesome responsibility.  Sister Kathleen and I have been talking for the last few years about the fact, that at some point, she desired to lessen her workload allowing her more personal time. She will offer assistance in other Ministry areas.

We have agreed that the time is right. Sister Kathleen will begin a part time position here at the beginning of November.  I am pleased that she will still be on our staff.  She is a wonderful influence on our parish. She will still be working with the RCIA process and with funeral planning.  Sister would like to promote some new programs.  I have encouraged her to do so.

Hopefully, Sister can enjoy some leisure time and if the COVID pandemic lessens in intensity she can travel to her community and family and  for enrichment.  I am glad that she will still be a presence at Sacred Heart.

Blessings,

Fr. Mark

P.S. Please pray for Dan Budde, Suzie Budde’s husband.  He is having major health issues.  Suzie will be taking a step back to tend to his needs.  If you leave a message for her, please be patient if she does not get back to you promptly. She is going to try to attend to some of her duties. If it something urgent, please consult other office staff.
